Rimfaxe is based on the first garment ever produced by Klättermusen in 1984 - the Nunatak anorak. It is our new survival jacket in organic fluorocarbon-free cotton. It  With its origins in the pre-TEX era of outdoor clothing its functionality is still unsurpassed. Taped waterproof garments are not the optimal choice for winter or high altitude conditions. The wind resistance (MFR 8) of Rimfaxe is more than adequate for the hardest of winds, something that has been tested on the previous model Nunatak on several expeditions to the North Pole. In wind speeds of 10 m/s it transports ten times more moisture than a laminated garment. Rimfaxe is a garment with the highest levels of safety. It has frostbite protection for the face and covers the groin to reduce heat loss. Strong 8 mm zippers with safety covers and Velcro are backed up by storm toggles for extreme situations. If you spend a lot of the winter outdoors, then Rimfaxe is quite simply the ultimate garment for you.
